200 Olive Trees Cut Down in Turkish-occupied Afrin

The Turkish-backed militias in Afrin continue to cut down olive tree of the displaced people of Afrin, with the aim of selling its wood in the local markets.

Our reporter said that the Islamic militias have recently uprooted 120 olive trees in the village of Shikhorzieh of Bulbul sub-district, owned by the displaced citizen ‘Ahmed Ibrahim’.

“The militias also continue to cut down an olive field located on the road to the former “Defense Authority” building in the center of Afrin city. The field is owned by the “Brana” family from the village of Bablit, and about 80 olive trees were cut down and their logs were transferred to Idlib markets.”, the reporter added.
